The Seven Ponies Buffet was open when we decided to stop and eat near the end of a long road trip. We figured it would be a nice way to end our weekend of travel, but we had no idea it would be as good as it was. If you should go check it out, pay the extra $5.00 for the prime rib option - it was the most amazing piece of steak I've ever had. And, it's a buffet! You can have as many slices as you can eat! The rest of the food that we had was great as well, but we will certainly be back for that wonderfully tender prime rib.
Room was clean and comfy but everything else was lacking! Hotel is smoke-free but ground floor and casino is not. The filtration system had some sort of problem that caused in-room announcements at 4 am. The odor -eating scent on the ground floor was too much, which made it impossible to eat in the casino area eateries.
We stopped going to Mississippi because it was so easy to come here. I come here and feel like he is with me
I come here and I bring my .sister.. now. My husband and I came here.. often until his health got bad. It has always had easy parking and friendly people
It's a fun place to enjoy yourself but the winnings are slim. I seem to lose over 100 every time I go. I won once out of the last 50 times but I love the complimentary stuff you get
Overall the guestrooms were OK but some of the subtle things in the guest rooms, like mixed compact fluorescent bulb types in the same lamp was a bit weird and not what I was expecting from hotel of this caliber... bed was comfortable though.
Hotel was ok, probably super nice by Oki standards. For breakfast I was unable to get fruit and they don't have rye toast. Healthy eating options are non-existent. Alcoholic beverages from the bar are served in plastic cups because they are afraid patrons will steal the glasses. That is what they actually told me.
I had fun in the casino even though I didn't win anything.
